"Therefore, since we have so great a cloud of witnesses surrounding us, let us also lay aside every encumbrance and the sin which so easily entangles us, and let us run with endurance the race that is set before us, fixing our eyes on Jesus, the author and perfecter of faith, who for the joy set before Him endured the cross, despising the shame, and has sat down at the right hand of the throne of God."
Hebrews 12:1-2
Women's Conference 2022 Recap
Women’s Conference was a blast! We had so much fun learning about “Monsters: The Things that Easily Beset Us” —the sins and temptations in our lives that render us incapable of living lives glorifying to God. The weekend was packed with seven messages from our speakers, Jenn, Nicole, and Michelle, and fun activities throughout. Interspersed between the messages were seven 5-minute reports, mini-lessons about the special softness God designed in women.
It was so encouraging to hear lessons about how despite being in a sin-filled world full of spiritual warfare, we can fight Satan and his influence, being lights to those around us, by keeping our eyes on Christ every day! We often fall into the traps monsters lay for us when we forget God’s attributes and that He has already won the victory over these sins for us! This barely scratches the surface of the deep biblical truth that was shared. If you’re interested in learning more, keep your eyes out for Monsters: The Things that Easily Beset Us, our book which is coming soon!
During the conference, we enjoyed many exciting activities related to the theme! In discussion groups, we talked about some of the monsters in our lives—the persistent sins and temptations that keep us from living unhindered for God. We also thought of Bible verses to combat those monsters and prayed for each other. Furthermore, we wrote down the monsters and verses we discussed and stuck them to “The Battlefront,” a bulletin board on the wall, to see how others were combatting their monsters as well. In addition to making monster battle plans, we had a station for writing encouragement notes to other sisters at the conference with monster stickers to remind whomever we were encouraging of the reality of the monsters we need to fight.
On the last day, we enjoyed a hilarious but touching live skit about the endurance of a pilgrim fighting her monsters as she made her way to the Heavenly Kingdom. Women’s Conference was a blessed time, and we’re thankful for the impact and fruit of God’s Word in our lives. We hope to see you at Women’s Conference next year!

Women's Conference 2023 Testimonial
Here's what our sister Lisa learned:
"What a weekend we had at Women’s Conference! I was so encouraged to take the monsters (sin) in my life seriously and to really kill them off and not toy with the idea of it. Just like we would take literal monsters in our life seriously, we should 100x more take the sins in our life much more seriously! I was encouraged to let the Word of God shout louder than the lies and sin that so easily entangle us. Satan is literally prowling around like a roaring lion and I want to be prepared to fight against Him through the power of God’s Word. One thing that I have already started to apply the day of getting back from the conference, is to schedule out my time more intentionally so that less time is spent thinking selfishly about myself, less time spent being lazy, and more time being productive for the Lord. Praise God for this conference and I cannot wait to attend the next one!"
