Women's Conference 2023

"by a new and living way which He inaugurated for us through the veil, that is, His flesh, and since we have a great priest over the house of God, let us draw near with a sincere heart in full assurance of faith, having our hearts sprinkled clean from an evil conscience and our bodies washed with pure water. Let us hold fast the confession of our hope without wavering, for He who promised is faithful; and let us consider how to stimulate one another to love and good deeds, not forsaking our own assembling together, as is the habit of some, but encouraging one another; and all the more as you see the day drawing near."

Hebrews 10:20-25

Women's Conference 2023 Recap

Women’s Conference was an encouraging, edifying, and refreshing time as we learned from God’s Word on the theme of “A Woman of Significance”! Throughout the weekend, our speakers, Alisa, Hannah, and Josephine, taught seven biblically solid and excellent messages! Interspersed between their messages were seven 5-minute reports on the topic titled “What does a man really think about?”

In a world that tells us life can be mundane, women often feel lost and purposeless. But as Christians, we can live significantly for God by living according to one principle that was shared at Women’s Conference. We also learned various important truths like how God is our inheritance, what our true purpose in life is, how to be genuine, the rewards we have when we worship God, the standard to measure ourselves as significant, and the hope we have in Christ’s return!

During the conference, we had fun participating in activities related to the theme! In groups, we went on a worship expedition through the conference site where we formed an essentials kit which included items that would encourage us to live for God in our day to day lives. Additionally, there was a Hall of Significance where the women took polaroid photos of themselves and wrote how they wanted to be remembered.

On the last day, we enjoyed a skit about a princess who learned to find her significance in God rather than searching for significance in beauty, dating, the praise of others, career, or even in her children. Women’s Conference was a blessed time, and we’re thankful for the impact and fruit of God’s Word in our lives. We hope to see you at Women’s Conference next year!

Women's Conference 2023 Testimonial

Here is what our sister, Sabrina, learned from one of the messages:
"Going through the life of Jonah was super cool to learn to not just do things out of duty, but genuinely and joyfully. Alisa mentioned how duty is better than disobedience, but why settle for half when you can go for the whole thing! Duty on its own is incomplete! Wow! What motivation for me to really examine in my heart if I’m doing EVERYTHING out of a genuine and wholehearted desire to please the Lord! It’s easier when things are busier when I’m not on guard to not be in prayer as much. I want to think about why I can be thankful to worship God in the specific task that I’ve been given and to be prayerful before, during, and after that task really wanting to draw near to the Lord at all times and seeing that as my ULTIMATE good!"
